My husband and I had to make the most impossible decision this weekend and say goodbye to my heart dog and best friend. Having Dr Fasano come to our home was probably the easiest part of that decision. Dr Fasano is the most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with and it was comforting knowing his gentle nature helped calm us through this difficult process. It was the most private and raw experience and I definitely ugly cried but there is also something beautiful about being able to say goodbye in the comfort of our own home, where my Bailey was not stressed and she was able to be in her own bed surrounded by family and love.

We are so grateful for Dr. Fasano's compassion and professionalism when he came to my mother's to help with the euthanasia of her dog. He made an incredibly difficult and emotional situation as smooth and peaceful as possible. Dr. Fasano was caring, thoughtful, and truly understanding, offering comfort during such a challenging time. His kindness meant the world to our family.

I cannot thank Dr. Fasano enough for his calming, caring and professional manner during one of the hardest times of my life. My 16 1/2 year old yorkie, Chloe suddenly stopped eating and was Deteriorating quickly and as much as I dreaded the decision, I could not stand to see her suffering. I called Dr Fasano to see if he could accommodate a late appointment that day as to give my son time to get home and say goodbye. He told me, unfortunately, he had another appointment and could not let that family down, which I understood. She was suffering so much, I was going to take her to the 24 hour vet but then I got a call from Dr. Fasano saying that he couldn’t get me off his mind and that if I was willing, he would work late and come to me after. I will forever be grateful that my Chloe was able to go in my arms, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by everyone who loved her.

Dr. Fasano and his tech were so wonderful when we had to put our Roxy girl down. He was able to get here the next morning priority and explained how everything would work in a caring manner. When they arrived they were so gentle with her and made her and my kids all feel at ease. They were patient yet worked methodical and we never felt rushed to say goodbye. He handled setting everything up for her cremation and after she was gone still took the to talk to us and make sure everything was good before leaving. A few days later and we already got the text her ashes are ready for pick up. I couldn't recommend Dr. Fasano enough and I am so grateful he was able to make such a hard time a little easier. Putting Roxy down at home where she was happy and comfortable and surrounded by my children was the best decision I could have made rather than taking her to the vet's office.

I knew Dr. Fasano was the right choice for my family’s situation with our dog Cali. After many phone calls, he was the one Vet willing to accommodate our family that very same day. From our first telephone conversation to Dr. Fasano showing up at our home that evening with his Associate Mike, they both showed us so much kindness and compassion. Dr. Fasano explained the process and helped honor our wishes for our dog. If I were ever in this situation again, I would only call Dr. Fasano.

To say we are grateful to Dr. Fasano and his wonderful vet tech to help our CoCo peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge would be an understatement. The person who I thought would come to do this was not able to and the search was on to find someone with same day availability. Dr. Fasano clearly moved his day around to accommodate us and could not have been more compassionate, kind and professional. It is never easy to make these decisions but having him and his colleague there made all the difference in the world and provided a sense of peace. I have already recommended him and his service to two local veterinarians and would do so without reservation to anyone who asks.

This positive experience far exceeded any expectation. The empathy, professionalism, and efficiency Dr Fasano & his assistant brought to this sad hour provided hard-to-describe relief. His presence was calming.Note: Doctor Fasano made himself available on one-hour notice when a well-known LI agency let us down.

Dr. Alex was great! He arrived within an hour of us contacting him, on a Sunday, and he and his assistant were kind, gentle and more than compassionate with such a difficult decision. We will be forever grateful to them for helping our boy crossover the Rainbow Bridge with the utmost dignity and respect that he deserved.I would highly recommend him for such a sensitive time. 🌈

To say this was the right choice would be an under statement. My dog Madison was with us for 15.5 years and her biggest fear were car rides. The last thing I wanted to do was have her last memories on earth be a car ride followed by a cold vet floor and a steel table to end her life. Dr. Alex was outstanding. From initial phone calls and his schedule flexibility, it made setting everything up seamless. With similar family situations, I think our situation hit more home to him. His compassionate and caring nature and calming voice and approach really made this an absolutely perfect and peaceful time for Madi to head over the rainbow bridge. The ability for someone to be able to do this regularly but still show emotion demonstrates the compassion that Dr. Alex exhibits. Madison left us in my arms, on her comfy bed, with a full belly and surrounded by her entire family in the comfort of her own home, warm and without stress or fear. If there is any doubt or question about how to navigate a challenging time like this, do not hesitate. Reach out to Dr. Alex and have him come in house. It is the only decision and the appropriate one at that for your loved furry family members.

We asked Dr. Fasano how he could do what he does. He said:

“I do it for the families and their pets— to give them the most comfortable final moments. Because the alternative of a clinical setting is not the best way.”

Dr. Fasano is not just a veterinarian; he is a father, a husband, a son, and a friend. He treats every pet like his own and he truly cares.
